This Module WILL require you to put SOME time aside each week to plan and implement your marketing strategy.

When you think about your brand, you really want to think about your entire customer experience…everything from your logo, your website, your social media experiences, the way you answer the phone, to the way your customers experience your staff. In short, your brand is the way your customer perceives you.  Branding promote recognition and helps set you apart from the competition.

During our training session we will discuss and guide you through:

Building a consistent brand and corporate image across all forms of advertising.

Brainstorm with you ways to leverage off external businesses to improve your customer base; Leverage off social media such as Facebook and Instagram; Discuss the implementation of “offers” in your business. We’ll help you to create VALUE ADDED offers, not just FREE giveaways. Any promotion you do should be a buy one get 1 free/ half price or Spend X dollars to get Y FREE.  You want customers to spend with you for their reward, not just give product away for nothing (this is the fastest way I know to go broke!!).  Products for these marketing options MUST be low cost and high profit margin lines. To this end we will provide you with a spreadsheet to test and measure the results of these promotions.  This spreadsheet will quickly identify your best and worst promotions and give you an ROI.  Your goal is to increase sales off the back of your promotions.

We’ll guide you through the introduction of the Customer Data Base Mailchimp, the most valuable marketing tool you can have. A data base provides a list of customers, both old and new, who have at some point been interested in the services or products you offer. Using this list is a great way to target customers so that they become repeat customers.   These are customers who WANT to hear from you, receive offers and spend their hard-earned cash in your store…just give them a reason!

Your marketing needs to by eye catching but simple. We’ll introduce you to Canva – a simple, easy to use tool loaded with FREE templates to create engaging material for marketing.

You’ll learn how to leverage your business on Social Media. A website is a great tool but, in our industry, social media is the way to go.  You’ll develop an online relationship with your customers – it humanizes your brand; social media will enable you to reach a higher number of potential customers; hone in on your market through very refined and cost effect Ad campaigns. Unlike newspapers, radio and TV you can target far more directly your market.  You can also obtain valuable demographic data from social media to use in specific target marketing.

We’ll guide you through the use of in store product information and promotion via TV using PowerPoint slides.  Market non-verbally to your customers while they wait. Use this medium to not only advertise specials but show short videos on your production, your history or an upcoming event.  We particularly love the production video’s, they give customers an insight into how the product is made and you’re not ALWAYS ramming specials/sales down their throat.
